Community Partners in Action (CPA) is guided by the mission of building community by providing services that promote accountability, dignity and restoration for those affected by the Connecticut justice system. To further this goal, CPA operates 12 programs focused on improving the lives of their participants as they return to their communities. These programs focus on improve reentry outcomes; developing innovative alternative community programs; shifting sentencing policies; removing barriers to housing, education and employment; and creating and advocating other evidence-based opportunities for criminal justice reforms in Connecticut. This funding will be used to advance CPA’s mission as they assist and advocate for Connecticut men, women and youth with justice system involvement.
