Girls Restorative Justice Initiative

2019

The Westchester and Rockland Mediation Centers (WRMC) provide a broad range of mediation and training services across Westchester and Rockland counties. Through these services, WRMC seeks to provide the highest quality dispute resolution support and education to community members and local officials. This funding will support the development of alternative services within MRMC’s Restorative Justice Initiative focused on adolescent girls and their families who are involved in the criminal justice system. By providing support to these young women and their families, this programming will support them in changing negative behaviors and meeting their goals.
