One-to-One Mentoring for System-Involved Youth

2005 - 2015

To support a one-on-one mentoring program for youth involved in the juvenile justice system. Participating youth will be matched with trained adults who will work with them for a minimum six hours a month to engage and direct them toward appropriate, empowering and productive activities and away from activities and groups that are risky or dangerous. The goals of this project are to reduce the youths’ risks of recidivism, truancy and school infractions resulting in suspension or expulsion.
