Unrestricted Funding and the Juvenile Justice Work Group

2005 - 2012, 2014 - 2016

To provide general support for this coalition of national and regional foundations. YTFG’s mission is to advocate reform of public systems to improve the lives of our nation’s most vulnerable young people ages 14 to 24 and help them transition into successful adults. Its workgroups focus on youth justice, foster care, workforce development, teen parents, and out-of-school and struggling students. This grant also supports a consultant to assist the Youth Justice Work Group to advocate system reform and promote cost-effective best practices with philanthropists, government and the public that will improve outcomes for court-involved youth and young adults without risk to public safety.
