Kindred Motes-Caso is the Communications and Strategic Engagement Advisor for The Tow Foundation. He began his work with the Foundation in the fall of 2022. Kindred is the founder and managing director of KM Strategies Group, a social impact consultancy.

Kindred works closely with the president to research and implement new approaches that deepen and expand the Foundation’s impact. Kindred also oversees The Tow Foundation’s communications, amplifying the visibility of the Foundation’s work through collaboration, targeted communications and engagement with key external partners and audiences.

Outside his work with the Foundation, Kindred currently serves on the board of directors for the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) of Alabama and on the Advisory Council of Fountain House. In his free time, Kindred enjoys playing tennis, taking extremely long walks and reading as many books as possible.

Kindred holds a B.A. in English from Birmingham-Southern College, where he was a Harrison Honors Scholar, and an M.A. in international relations with honors from the University of Essex in Britain.
