Learning Lab on Improving Outcomes for Justice-Involved Youth Learning Lab

2013 - 2014

To design and host a two-day policy reform briefing in Connecticut for senior-level policymakers from four to five other states interested in learning how Connecticut successfully adopted and implemented juvenile justice system reforms. Briefings with state and national experts and practitioners, as well as site visits, will help inform strategic recommendations that the state teams will develop during this learning lab. In addition, NGA Center staff will convene an experts roundtable to develop recommendations to help governors improve their juvenile justice practices, publish issue briefs that capture the recommendations and provide ongoing technical assistance to the state teams as they work toward implementation of the reforms.
