To provide general operating support for the Bridge Fund of Westchester, the largest privately funded homelessness prevention program in the county. The Bridge Fund seeks to prevent homelessness before it occurs by assisting vulnerable families through budget counseling, expert referrals, financial assistance and benefits assessments. Through these services, the Bridge Fund of Westchester supports an average of 200 working poor households each month in their efforts to maintain housing.
