Morgan Dixon is co-founder and CEO of GirlTrek, the nation’s largest public health nonprofit for Black women and girls. Morgan and her co-founder, Vanessa Garrison, started GirlTrek in 2012 in response to the public health crisis of Black women dying of preventable disease. Since then, GirlTrek has become the go-to public health and community wellness organization by investing in both current and future leadership of Black women.

This grant provides support for the visionary leadership of Morgan Dixon as she continues to mobilize a powerful coalition advocating for structural reforms and community improvements at the local, state and national levels.
