The GroundTruth Project is an award-winning non-profit media which develops fellowships aimed at talented, early-career journalists of varying mediums. Renewed funding will support four to five Report for America (RFA) corps members over three years to provide coverage on criminal justice and the intersection of justice and public health in CT, NY and nationwide. RFA matches talented, diverse journalists with local newsrooms from coast to coast for one to three years of service. Corps members report on under-covered themes, such as criminal justice, the environment, education, inequality and health, or on under-covered communities, from people of color to veterans, the elderly and working families.
