Diana Echevarria is senior program officer at The Tow Foundation. Prior to joining the Foundation in May 2022, she was the senior director of grantmaking at the Newman’s Own Foundation.

In her newly created role, Diana works closely with the president of the Foundation and the program team to envision, identify and cultivate potential grant opportunities and support the Foundation’s overall philanthropic strategy. With extensive experience creating and overseeing strategic partnerships and programs, she brings a collaborative, equity-centered approach to program creation and expansion at the Foundation.

Diana has a deep passion for strengthening communities and amplifying diverse perspectives. Outside of her work with the Foundation, she served on the presidential search committee for the Connecticut Council for Philanthropy and is a member of the advisory committee for Girls Inc. Westchester. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, listening to music and reminding her children to be the best version of themselves.

Diana received her B.A. in political science from Vassar College.
