Caroline V. McGraw’s plays include “Louder,” “1983,” “I Get Restless,” “Believeland,” “Ultimate Beauty Bible,” “The Bachelors,” “Tall Skinny Cruel Cruel Boys” and “The Vaults.” Her work has been produced and developed by Page 73, Lesser America, South Coast Rep, New Georges, Washington Ensemble Theatre, Second Stage, Rattlestick, Washington National Opera, Portland Center Stage, Williamstown Theatre Festival, Colorado New Play Festival, The Lark, City Theatre, IAMA Theater, and Ars Nova, among others. Caroline has written new play commissions for Yale Rep and South Coast Rep, and is developing a commission from Manhattan Theatre Club/the Sloan Foundation. She has been the recipient of the AracaWorks Graduate Playwriting Award, Page 73 Playwriting Fellowship and a Tow Foundation Playwright Residency. She is an alum of Interstate 73, Civilians R&D Group, Primary Stages Dorothy Strelsin New American Writers Group, and SPACE on Ryder Farm’s Working Farm. “Ultimate Beauty Bible” is published by Dramatists Play Service. Caroline is a member of the Kilroys, a grassroots collective advocating for gender parity on American stages. She is a graduate of the Playwriting MFA program at the Yale School of Drama, where she studied under Paula Vogel.
