The Power of Advocacy

Mar 1, 2011

Our brochure details the positive outcomes that result from thoughtful and effective initiatives on behalf of youth involved or at risk of involvement in the justice system. By advocating for the rights of this vulnerable population, we can improve their quality of life and ensure that they reach their full potential. This is illustrated through a series of case studies in which advocacy is used to prevent delinquency, raise the age of prosecution as an adult in Connecticut, and end the school-to-prison pipeline.

These partnerships come in many forms including collaborations between communities, not-for-profit organizations, individuals, businesses and government.
